Here's what our parents and former students have to say about us!
Many nights when reviewing Spanish material, I was often told that "Mom, you don't do it like Señora Lili". We would laugh at my poor attempt and then I would ask my daughter how to say the word correctly. She would tell me the correct pronunciation and every time she did it her eyes would light up once she realized that she had learned yet another Spanish word.
I would like to thank Señora Lili for this because she has not only introduced the Spanish language and culture to my daughter, but she has also started a new found confidence in her. This class has gone beyond teaching a foreign language. Señora Lili has helped to build a life long shaping skill set. Thank You Señora Lili! Amy K. - Boyd E. Smith Elementary I wanted to send a quick note of praise for your Spanish program. Our daughter, Elle, is in her second year in the program at her school. We have been very pleased with all that she is learning. Señora Pilar has done a fabulous job engaging her. Elle returns home each week ecstatic with all that she has learned and is really enjoying having Pilar as her teacher this year! After yesterday's lesson on place setting, Elle promptly pulled out the plate, napkin, utensils and cup that were given to her, set them correctly and told me how to say each item in Spanish. This hands-on opportunity to use the language was so much fun for her. She has been using what she has learned from the food unit at dinner time. My soon-to-be Kindergartener is also so excited to learn Spanish next year! Elle absolutely loves going to Spanish class.
Caroline T.- South Lebanon Elementary My daughters took preschool Spanish classes at World Of Spanish & loved it! We have been thrilled with the program and our girls have learned so much in such a short time. They are excited to learn new Spanish words and songs and always come home with creative Spanish themed crafts. We enjoy learning together! I’ve recommended World of Spanish to many friends as the teachers do an excellent job of making learning about other cultures fun & exciting. We look forward to many years of Spanish classes to come.

My kids absolutely love going to class. They have learned so much and it has even put them on the track to asking me in their day to day lives "Mommy, how do you say that in Spanish?" Fun new phrase in our house "¿Cómo se dice?" with anything and everything. Thank you so much, I look forward to many more classes to come.
We have two children involved in an after school program at their elementary school. We are amazed at what they have learned and retained during the first and second sessions. In 15 weeks they know more than I did in two years of high school Spanish classes. The fact that they incorporate Latin American and Spanish customs into the lessons is just icing on the cake. My kids will take these classes for years to come!!!
My oldest daughter took a few of these classes in elementary school, and she was able to take "Spanish 1" in 8th grade. As a sophomore, she's in Honors Spanish 3! My youngest daughter is hoping to repeat that success. She took the early-morning classes her entire elementary school career. I don't know of many reasons for a kid to want to get up early for a before-school class, but the lessons and activities were so diverse and fun, and she was loathe to miss. Special guests and celebrations and crafts rounded out her experience. We are very grateful our school offered this program, and we applaud the staff for providing such a fun learning environment that gave our girls a life-long love of language and culture.
Rhonda H. - Summit Elementary My brother Michael and I enjoyed learning Spanish in elementary school. Though we had to wake up earlier than usual, we had a great time learning and you made class very enjoyable for us. Now, looking back, we are grateful to have been able to take a Spanish class so early on in our education. It prepared us for middle school and high school Spanish classes because we walked in already knowing the majority of what was being taught.
I am presently in college studying to be a nurse. Spanish is something I will be able to use to communicate if one of my patients only speaks Spanish. I will be able to communicate with them, find out what is wrong, and help them without the help of an interpreter. We believe that a part of our success is due to your class as it laid a foundation for us to learn and be able to build off for the rest of our education. We are so grateful for you and your class. It comes very highly recommended! Christina K. - Mercer Elementary |
